HandyBASE - A Powerful Test Database Utilizing Web Browser Client Access
The HandyBASE test database offers a unique and
powerful solution to manage, analyse and report test data from production
test or evaluation test.
It is an easy-to-use, fully integrated system for statistical processing of measurement data. The database supports vector-based results (graphs) as well as parametric-based test results. Hence, a user can store not only measurement data but also complete curves. The latter has proven an essential feature in mixed-signal testing. The database allows automatic import of test results from multiple test systems and the use of a Web based Client/Server architecture. Since the Client is a standard Web browser like the MS-Windows Explorer, no special software needs be installed at the user sites. The system has an optional alarm module.
The obvious advantage of the approach is that a central
test database can be accessed from any PC on a network or even via the
Internet, provided that the user is accepted for access.
The WEB browser architecture utilizes standardized SQL
calls of the database.
